Christmas Card Making Time...with pictures!

As earlier promised, here are the pictures of the cards we will be making in my Christmas Card Workshop on Saturday, November 23 or Thursday, December 5.

We will be making 49 cards in all, 33 regular sized cards and 16 3X3 gift cards.  My workshop is based on the Frosted Workshop on the Go, but of coarse I notched it up (thanks to the inspiration from a fellow CTMH consultant who shared her version) to make more cards.  I have also added some cardstock and bling to the basic WOTG Kit.

I am offering this workshop on Saturday, November 23 at 1:00 and then again on Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 pm.  And here is an added bonus...since we will be making SO many cards and I don't want to stress you out, I will do your cutting for you ahead of time...after all, I want my workshops to be fun.

The cost of this workshop is $35.  That is lees than $1 per card AND you get to keep the stamp set!  I will need your RSVP a week before the date that yo want to take the workshop (November 16 for the 23rd and November 27th for the 5th.)

If these dates absolutely don't work for you let me know and we can make arrangements...

November Stamp of the Month

This month's Stamp of the Month is called 'Illuminate'...

This month we paired this stamp set with the Huntington paper pack.  I think the rich, elegant colors of this paper pack paired nicely with this stamp set.  Here is the creative art work my Consultant Sisters came up with...

Christmas Card Making Time

With Christmas fast approaching I thought it was about time to organize a Christmas Card Workshop.  What a concept, right?  Anyway....

CTMH has designed a great workshop using our elegant Frosted papers.

 

The kit includes the papers, card bases & envelopes, sparkles, bakers twine, a stamp set and Instruction sheet and is designed to make 15 cards.  Very nice.  But....it wouldn't be a Glitter Queen Workshop if I didn't change it up....

I ramping up this workshop to make 33 regular sized cards AND 16 3X3 gift cards.  Yes, 49 cards in all.  I have to thank a fellow consultant who shared her version of this for the inspiration. 

 I will be adding 3 sheets of cardstock to the basic kit plus the extra card bases and some extra bling (cuz you can never have too much bling!)  We will be making a variety of card designs, including those pictured above.  I am still working on my samples and I will post the final samples as soon as I finish.

New...Project Kits

So I have been busy in the Glitter Queen's Studio and I want to share with you what I have come up with.

I have decided to design and offer Project Kits using Close To My Heart papers and embellishments.  My kits will include everything you will need to complete the project, including all papers, embellishments and a workshop guide created by me with all cutting guides and assembly instructions you will need.

This month's Stamp of the Month is called 'Poster Tidings'....it is patterned after those popular word collage wall hangings that you see every where. 

This month we paired this stamp set with the Pro Player paper pack.  It was lots of fun going with this unconventional combination,  it really made me think outside of the box.  Here is the wonderful artwork that my Consultant Sisters came up with.

Laughling Lola Card Workshop

I have to say that I wasn't really excited about the Laughing Lola paper pack when I first saw it.....but then I started working with it and now I LOVE it.  The colors are so bold and rich.  It just goes to show that we need to keep on open mind.

After playing with this paper pack I decided to offer the Cardmaking Workshop On The Go.  The workshop includes 3 card designs and makes 5 of each design.  But you know me...that is too much repetition.  So, of coarse I changed it up and added sparkle!  After all, I gotta be me.

 So what does that mean for the workshop?  We will still be making 15 cards, but I will have lots of different ideas on how to put them together, and we will be adding sparkle.  And you will also have the option to change out the sentiments to fit your needs.

The workshop will be on Thursday, September 19 at 6:30.  The basic workshop price is $20 and will include all the papers you need, 15 card bases, a pack of Black Sparkles, misc embellishments and a colored workshop guide with cutting guides.  OR you can Supersize your workshop and get the exclusive workshop stamp set and 15 white envelopes in addition to the items in the basic workshop kit.  The Supersize price is $29 (including shipping and tax).  Please RSVP by September 13 so I can make sure to have enough supplies.
