Relief for Oklahoma

For Always Card Workshop on the Go

I just love the For Always paper pack.  It is so elegant and so very versatile, you can use it with just about any color accents and it looks good.

CTMH has designed a great card workshop featuring this great paper pack.  The workshop kit includes For Always Workshop stamp set, For Always B&T papers, coordinating cardstock, 15 card bases and envelopes, roll of slate ribbon, purple sparkles and a instructional brochure. 

The workshop is designed to make 5 of each of the above cards.  But it wouldn't be a Glitter Queen Workshop if I didn't change it up....you know me!  So I changed it to 3 of each design and ADDED the following two cards....

Elegance, bling, and a splash of color.  

The cost of the workshop is $30 (including shipping and tax).  The workshop will be at the Glitter Queen's Studio on Thursday, June13 at 6:30 pm.  Please RSVP by June 7 to make sure I have enough supplies.

Card Making Marathon for Operation Write Home

Operation Write Home is a group that supplies hand-crafted cards to deployed heroes to write home on.  Hundreds of thousands of hand-crafted birthday, all-occasion and holiday greeting cards have been sent over seas.  These cards have all been supplied by folks like you and me.

 

When I read about this group I immediately wanted  to support them.  I talked to some of my stamping sisters and they agreed, so I decided to host a quarterly card making marathon. 

Come join my on Saturday April 13, 9 am to 9 pm, and make some cards for our soldiers.  Don't worry if you are not a card maker, we will show you how.  All supplies will be provided, but if you have something specific in mind please feel free to bring your own supplies.  If you have adhesive and a paper trimmer you could bring that would be great too.  If not, I will have some extras.

This quarter we will be making cards for Father's Day, 4th of July and general Summer, in addition to the basics (Thinking of you, Birthday, Love, Thank You, Missing You and Blank).  Dates for my future Marathon Days can be found on my calendar.

Come for the whole day or just a part....but please RSVP to me ( 408-460-9678 or susieque@sbcglobal.net) so I can make sure to have enough workstations and supplies for all.

Light Refreshments and Door Prizes will be provided.
