Workshops and Chat & Scraps....

Well, I have finally done it!  What is that you ask?  I figured out how to post a calendar to my blog.  What is that you say?  Duh?  To that I say....Hah!  It took me all afternoon to figure out!  I am a little slow on this whole blog thing...but I am getting there.  Thank you for your patience!

But seriously....
I have finally done some scheduling.  Yes, that is right, it is Workshop time!  And time to get together for some Chat & Scraps!  And guess what - they are all listed on my new Calendar Page!  Check it out!  Aren't you proud of me?

Workshops on the Go...
In my Workshops on the Go we will be creating two 2 page layouts, four cards and a surprise gift item.  Each WOTG will feature a paper pack, embellishments and lots of creativity.  Please refer to My Calendar for all of the details and prices.  For March and April I have scheduled:

Roxie - Sunday March 4.  RSVP Deadline is Tuesday, February 28.

Stella - Friday, March 23.  RSVP Deadline is Friday, March 16.

Pemberley - Sunday, April 1.  RSVP deadline is Monday, March 26.

 

 Chat & Scraps....

Do you need some inspiration to get restarted (or even started) on your latest scrapbook project?  Or a place to go and work without family interruptions?  Or just want to get out for the evening?   Then you need to come over for a Chat & Scrap!

What is a Chat & Scrap?  Bring your project over to the 'Glitter Queen's Studio' and work without any of the  interruptions that you get at home.  You will have access to all of my tools, stamps, inks, punches and even my new Cricut and the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

The evening/afternoon includes lunch or dinner and snacks.  And there will even be a simple Make & Take project.  All for $10.  Please RSVP to Sue if you plan on attending.

A Butterfly Card

I finally had a chance to sit down and play with some of the new items that I ordered from the new idea book and here is a card that I came up with.  The design is actually quite simple but I dressed it up by using my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out some of the elements.  It amazes me how such an easy step can make such a difference.

I used the paper from the new Florentine Paper Pack along with the new Qucikcard - Butterfly stamp.  And of course there is Glitter!  That makes all the difference!

Event Calendar Workshop

Do you have a problem remembering birthdays and anniversaries?  I know I do!  That is why I love this cute Event Calendar. (Also known as a perpetual calendar).



 A very creative CTMH consultant shared her version of an event calendar using the special Pair A Phase double sized stamp set designed for National Stamping Month and I just LOVE it!  I put my spin on it (yes, it involves sparkle!) and I am offering it as a workshop.

You will receive a spiral bound Event Calendar, a set of Black Mini Medley Accents and all of your papers precut.

These would make awesome gifts.  Why not get a jump on Christmas gifts?





 The workshop will be held on two dates - Thursday, September 22 at 7 pm or Saturday, September 24 at 11 am.  Cost is $20 or make two for $36.   Please RSVP by September 15th so I can make sure to have enough time to order the supplies.

Pop-Out Scrapbook Workshop

It is workshop time!  Check out this cute little Pop-Out Scrapbook I made using our Sophia papers.

 Isn't it so cute.  What a perfect little gift for a special friend.  I got the inspiration for it at our Convention this summer - the only thing is I can't remember the name of the consultant that shared it during Extravaganza!  I would love to give her credit for the design.
